missing my father

If you've followed my old blog, you know that December 2010 was the hardest time of my life... It doesn't get easier.... I miss my Dad beyond measure :-/ I am so thankful that I was able to help my mom care for him... I cherish those moments like you couldn't believe... but I miss him, I miss him so much.

"I found a memory card last night that I hadn't transferred... It was filled with photos I took of you and that mommy took too. What I'd do to be able to visit you and talk to you in your hospital room again... What I'd do to be able to wake up, walk down my stairs and watch the morning news with you... It seem selfish because it was you that was in pain... but I'd selfishly do anything to turn back time and relive everything all over again..."

So, I know I normally photograph children and chase the sun, BUT I have also had the pleasure to photograph celebrities for Until There's a Cure Foundation. Until There's a Cure is a foundation raising awareness on AIDS. And the celebrities offer their time for the cause.

A few of the photos I took of Vikings player Visanthe Shiancoe are not only featured in the UTAC campaigns, but now are featured on Essence.com :) Go Me!
